Bedford Farmers Market
Saturdays May - October
2022 Season - Saturdays - May 21st - Oct 29th
The Bedford Farmers Market consists of local farmers, artisans and bakers; all items for sale at the market are handmade/homegrown in Lawrence County and within 75 miles from courthouse. Products available at the Bedford Farmers Market include fresh produce, plants, farm fresh eggs, local beef, chicken and pork, baked goods, jams, jellies, sweet bread, pies, cinnamon rolls, jewelry, tie-dye, pottery, leather goods, baby items, candles, walking sticks, baskets, crochet dolls/animals and a variety of other art/craft items.
Many vendors accept WIC vouchers for fresh produce. The Bedford Farmers Market has also teamed with IU Health- Bedford to provide bonus vouchers to WIC recipients. The vouchers can be used when purchasing fresh produce. We welcome new vendors/performers throughout the season; vendor fee is only $50/year for a 10x10 space. (Vendors who expect to participate fewer than 5 weeks may pay a weekly fee of $10 rather than annual.) Reserved spots are available for a fee of $10 per space and electricity is also available for a small fee. Applications are available at the Saturday market and the Lawrence County Purdue Extension Office. There are no pre-registration requirements. |
