BRI is a volunteer based organization.  Without the financial support of these sponsors, we wouldn't be able to host many of the community projects and initiatives.  BRI sincerely thanks our BRI Partners for their generosity to allow us to continue our efforts for the community and downtown Bedford.
BRI is our local Indiana Main Street affiliate whose mission focuses on strengthening partnerships, supporting business, and attracting visitors while building community relationships to promote a vibrant downtown district.   We're proud of our rich history and are working to create a space that reflects our heritage, while providing function and beauty to the redevelopment of our downtown.    We value and support our local merchants who have helped to shape our community and continue to attract new businesses and services to our downtown district.   BRI is the host entity for many of the beloved hometown events, such as the Limestone Heritage Festival, the Bedford Farmer’s Market, Christmas Around the Square, Scare Around the Square and the Parades of Bedford (Limestone Heritage Festival and Christmas Parades) in addition to the Downtown Merchants group. 

Our history

BRI has been a 501(c)(3) organization since December 1992, and takes pride in the accomplishments achieved over the years.  In the past BRI has sponsored a façade program for downtown property owners to upgrade the exterior of their buildings using state grant money.  In addition, we have partnered with the City of Bedford and other businesses and organizations in implementing the projects associated with the Stellar Grant.
